About Us

The Optimist Voice as a publication has two sets of objectives, one for the people and another for the leadership of Nigeria in particular. We also have a generalized objective to also go after the interest of the continent as a whole on a lesser scale, for we realize the country needs the continent just as the continent needs the individual countries to make it.

For Nigerian People; the objectives for the publication is to achieve (1) Positive change (highest goal), (2) Informed audience (3) Active citizens (4) Proactive (initiators) (5) Articulate people. These we believe should equip the followership (governed) to help themselves based on their core interests wherever they reside.

For the Leadership; The Optimist Voice’s objective for the Leaders are to inculcate ones that are; (1) Concerned (2) Selfless (3) Positively daring (4) Sensitive to the collective (5) Morally obligated to all Nigerians regardless of the statistical peculiarities that sets people apart (6) Firm against injustice, corruption and misappropriation.

We set out to be the best weekly magazine for the audience identified above. We intend to achieve the above by being the pacesetters, identifying genuine issues, analyzing them, and providing solutions. In short we identify the bitter truth, and work on it without fear or favor as long as it is beneficiary to our identified goals. We publish papers and articles from those acquainted with factual and professional methods of inquiry, analysis and recommendations. We do not subscribe to sectarianism, anarchy or other forms of journalism that is destructive, sectarian, and consequently counterproductive.
