The Double Standards

While bragging that it was “the biggest trial ever undertaken by the Hague Tribunal” once again we see how the world values human lives, or lack thereof, based on who they are.  For the 1995 murder of more than 7,000 Muslim Men in the city of Srebrenica, after “luring” them into the city using credible organizations such as the United Nations to convince them that it is a safe refuge, Bosnian Serb Army moved in, separating families, women and children from their husbands and brothers.  The men were led off, mostly in handcuffs, taken to the suburban areas told to lie down face down and shot in cold blood.  For that crime, the two convicted men got life in prison. 

The two were convicted together with seven other police officers charged with crimes ranging from genocide to genocide related offenses.  The offences (counts) they were convicted of also included murder and forcible transfer of civilians.  These were individuals who acting on official capacities or otherwise perpetrated or aided the perpetration of brutal war crimes during the Bosnian Crisis. For any with some semblance of humanity, the horrors witnessed on TV screens from those atrocities are unforgettable.  Will that be the same sentence passed on the perpetrators, had the victims been citizens of Britain, United States or yet still Israel.  Just think about it.

But that is not the only yardstick.  Sometimes the difference between people is not how one is categorized based on physical, geographical or any statistical identifiers.  It is based on who one identifies with ideologically.  For we know that what makes a man is not just based on how and where he made his entry into this world, but what has since then influenced his mental and ideological make up.  Experiments using animals in modern laboratories have shown that you can alter, through experimentation, the thinking (within) of creatures, making some animals even believe that they are what they are not (physically).

We are truly living in very dangerous times, where it seems a few people at the helms of power globally, have evolved a dangerous game where the ultimate victors who would survive it all is themselves after they use everyone else to eliminate their enemies.  While relaxing in their villas, sailing the ocean and seas in their private ships and yachts, or else flying on their personal jets, they feel a false sense of security within some “secretive” circles of powerbrokers.  They forever seem to experiment with one people at a time, teaching by example how hard they can come down on any that challenges their lifestyle and sense of power.  This they also maintain by brainwashing through propaganda the general public across the world against a group of people at a time.  The ultimate goal being the ability to continue to maintain their own personal interest or their continued existence and way of life.

The same tactic is used time and time over again to mislead the world.  Those who do not learn about history, we hear, will be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past.  The idea of demonizing a people through lies and deception, so as to desensitize the general public, making them open game.  It was the tactic that was used by the Nazis before World War II.  You demonize a people, drum the beat of patriotism and the love of your own people, and you get your self a mob that act like zombies.  That was the same seed sawn across the world after the fall of the Berlin wall and communism, and  Islam is the new target. 

In Nigeria for example, the press is trying hard to convince everyone that the Muslim victims of recurrent crisis are the perpetrators of their own mass murder. And people trust that they will ultimately go to the Hague to get justice.  Malcolm X, a Muslim Minister from the 1960s in the United States advocated for the African Americans that they find ways to take care of their own problems by themselves within their own capacities.  In one of his popular speeches, he says it is futile to take your case to the criminal.  In his exact words “You don’t take your case to the criminal, you take the criminal to court.”  

Many books have been written over the years, most of which have been brushed aside as conspiracy theories.  But the continued double standards applied to the concept of justice across the world is becoming increasingly bold and brazen.  One of such topics were about how a group of world leaders are trying to mould the world’s population into their ideas, power grip and manipulations.  One clear problem that seems to be a challenge, they claim is Islam, because it has a greater grip on its followers who are less willing to put down their religion to be absorbed in a world that only worships materialism.  The ultimately want the  “secular” non God mentioning society where every event does not get the credit of God, but ‘nature.”  

 Behind such theories are “New World Order” the “Bilderberg Group” etc.  The story behind the Bilderberg Group for example says they meet regularly to determine the fate of the world and its population.  To such groups were attributed a general plan to determine who leads any nation of the world, who of course has to be a yes person to their mapped out plans.  Others yet have attributed a salient program that has for years been in place, to force the reduction of world population.  The way to achieve that, they claim, is not your general way of thinking, but brutal and bloody if necessary.  One of the brutal but not readily bloody is through biological and chemical elimination, not only in wars, public and open arenas, but in the very places you go to get healed.

While many of us have for long been brushing such theories aside, it is events like these, that makes us scratch our heads.
